The Baltic Challenge Award 2006 for the best ICT project was given to Gateway Sweden, run by the Swedish Customs. Two additional awards sponsored by Riga City Council were presented to Vilnius e-Municipality (Lithuania) and to Sparknet & Openspark, run by MP-Masterplanet Ltd. (Finland).
