Approval of the BaltMet Action Plan 2008 – 2010 (Tallinn, 6 November 2007)

The Mayors and Representatives of the Baltic Metropoles member cities shall meet for the yearly Mayors’ meeting on 6 November 2007 in Tallinn. This meeting shall complete the action period of the BaltMet ‘Berlin Agenda’ accepted during the BaltMet Mayors’ meeting in Berlin in 2005. In Tallinn, the Mayors shall review the achievements of the past projects and initiatives and approve the BaltMet Action Plan 2008 – 2010, the document to guide the cooperation among the major cities of the Baltic Sea Region during the coming three years.

The meeting shall take place on 6 November 2007 in Tallinn, and will be organised back-to-back to the Baltic Development Forum Summit (4-6 November 2007). On the same day, BaltMet Inno project shall host its Final Conference „Baltic Sea Region – Archipelago of Innovation?”.

Mayors’ press conference shall be held after the meeting to raise the most topical issues in current and future metropolitan cooperation.
